Our standards
The standards we have chosen.
These are our own ethical standards, written down so anyone can see how Kas D’atay is run. They are choices we made for our work, not a ruling for anyone else.
No pictures of people or animals
Creator pages use a logo or an avatar with no face. Our own site uses architecture, landscape and abstract imagery.
Every page is reviewed by a person
Software may flag a page for a closer look. It never approves one. A person decides before anything goes live.
Calm and modest by design
We keep the house style calm, modest and free of anything that sits uneasily with the values on our principles page.
We act when we learn of a problem
If a page breaks the rules, or a report is upheld, we ask for a fix, set a deadline and take the page down if it isn’t resolved.
We report, we don’t certify
We never call anything approved or certified on anyone’s behalf. We describe what we did and leave the judgement to you.
Want to know where a standard comes from? Ask us and we’ll tell you. Think we’ve got something wrong?
