Stream alerts
If you stream on YouTube, Twitch or elsewhere, Kas D’atay can show a short thank-you on screen, with the tea-pour sound, each time someone pours you a cup.
- 1Open Buttons & widgets and choose Get my stream alert link under Stream alerts.
- 2In OBS or Streamlabs, add a Browser source and paste your link. A size of about 800 × 200 works well.
- 3Choose See a test alert to check how it looks.
- Alerts show the supporter’s name and cups, and their message only if it’s public. Anonymous supporters show as “Someone”. Amounts are never shown.
- Choose Edit design to set the words, style, extra line, background (solid or see-through), text colour, where the alert sits on screen and how long it stays. Your design is saved on your account, so the link you pasted into OBS never changes.
- In Edit design you can also add your own picture or GIF and your own sound (MP3, OGG or WAV, up to 1 MB each). Your picture replaces the sticker and your sound replaces the pour sound. Only upload files you made or have the right to use.
- If a supporter picks a sticker (heart, star, moon, sparkle, leaf or cup) when they support you, it shows in the alert and on your supporters list. Anonymous supporters' stickers are not shown on stream.
- New supports appear within about 10 seconds, one after another.
- Keep the link private. If it gets out, choose Make a new link: the old one stops working.
